This is an interesting and tasty variety of chocolates. For me the Brown butter and rye chocolates stood out, the butter flavor was more complex than I would have expected, recommended.

Amazing bar with strong rum flavor

LOVE this bar. The rum clearly announces itself without being overpowering. A new favorite!

The first time I ordered this collection, I wasn't sure I'd like them all, because I generally prefer straight, dark chocolate without additional flavors. But these four bars knocked my socks off, with flavors that are rich but subtle, and nothing even remotely artificial-tasting. It's not at all like eating bars that simply have other ingredients or flavors added TO the chocolate. Steeping the cocoa beans yields a much more sophisticated bar with deep notes that enhance, not compete with, the depth of the cocoa experience. You just have to try it to understand! These four, plus the maple and Black Urfa chili bars, are now my favorites, and I get a little bit offended when family members call them "candy."

We have tasted practically all world winner chocolate brands there are. Without a doubt, this is the best RUM variant of any brand we have ever tested. It is simply a heavenly enjoyment - thanks a lot GoodNowFarms :)

This is one of my favorite bars from Goodnow, and I’ve tried about 7 total. The rum is well-balanced. I can taste it, but it’s not overpowering. The texture of the chocolate is also great.

Lawley's Rum was one of the chocolates in the Special Reserve Collection which was my first purchase from Goodnow Farms. It was my favorite in that collection, so I'm back for another!

I recommend this tasty collection. All bars are creamy delicious and unique. Thanks to Goodnow for such a great group of decadent chocolate bars!

I could say this is some of the best chocolate in the world, and I'm sure a lot of you would think it was hyperbole. I almost don't want to wax poetic about how good it is, because I don't want the competition for my favorite bars-- Lawley's Rum, the annual hard cider bar, Putnam Rye Whiskey, to say nothing of the fantastic single origin bars. I keep my chocolate in the refrigerator drawer where most people keep their cheese and sliced meat ; ) . It's simply the best. If you are a dark chocolate lover, this will be your heaven! The only person I share it with is my husband : ) .

Lived up to the hype!

The rum and chocolate is an amazing combination! Love to offer a bit of chocolate after dinner to my guests and this chocolate bar is always a treat for them. They love it!

Love it. All the flavors are so true and full of the actual true flavor added with really creamy chocolate. I'm impressed.

Goodnow’s chocolates all have incredible smoothness and the flavors of each type of bar are unique. The flavor just pops out and is nothing like having a regular bar of blended chocolate from elsewhere. I’ve tried most of the different Goodnow bars, and the Lawley’s Rum is one of my favorites. The rum flavor combines well with the chocolate. Try it! You won’t be disappointed.

I found a way to make great hot chocolate by making a paste out of a mixture of your cocoa and cocoa, with 2 tablespoons of milk , using my "miso Muddler", sort of like conching. Then enough milk to make a cup of Hot Chocolate.

The Americas bar and the 55 % milk chocolate are excellent in flavor and quality- I can’t wait to try the others I purchased, and I love the look of the bars. New age Willy Wonka.

I am normally not a big chocolate fan, most of them taste the same to me. These Goodnow chocolates were head and shoulders above anything else I’ve ever had. The care with packaging was top notch in the summer heat as well.

I was the lucky winner with the highest bid for my favorite indulgence chocolate! While I am sharing this bundle of gold, I kept Ecuador chocolate for myself with Lawley's Rum recipient of the Good Food awards 2021 Winner. I heard the chocolate from Ecuador was divine, so I could not wait to sink my teeth into this one and let the chocolate dance on my taste buds. It was delightful.

I keep eating it along with other bars just to keep checking myself that it is as creamy and luscious as I think it is. Truly remarkable. There brown butter is especially yummy.

This expression of the bean caught me by surprise. I expected something different, but I got something remarkable. The hint of Lawley's takes center stage late in the taste, and combined with the perfect cocoa butter flavor sets the stage for a sublime experience. You will hear yourself say MMMMmmm.
