Wasn't confident that I'd like it based on the description: honey & Toasted Marshmallow. However, in a tasting comparison of 3 signature bars side-by side, this was our top choice.

A chocolate historian friend who introduced me to the world of cacao back in the late 90's, recommended Good Now Farms Chocolates to me. I bought a variety and found each bar unique. The chocolate bars come simply and thoughtfully packaged: I appreciate the "taste notes" given on the back of the envelope. I love that the makers visit their sources and nurture their relationships with the cacao growers. The cost for a Good Now Farms bar of chocolate is worth the price for the art of craft creating the varied and delicious flavors as well as for the knowledge that the money is fanning out to all the people and labor involved in the chocolate making process. These chocolates are like fine wines; they are meant to be savored - both the single origin bars and their combination of flavors chocolates. The Passion Flower & Creme Special is an incredible taste experience.

This is my first experience with Good Now Farms (received the South American Collection as a Christmas gift), and my first impression from this bar is just superb. There is such strong yet well bended note of honey, and specifically raw honey from the region in which I live (Northeast US). The flavor is not too ‘in your face’ either. Clean, sweet, balanced, complex, and just excellent.

This is just sublime throughout. I’ll buy this again and again.

The Columbia Boyaca is one of my favorite Chocolate bars from Goodnow Farms. The flavor is complex and smooth. The best part is I know the chocolate is coming from an ethical place. The people making it are treated well and care about the chocolate they make.

I never really believed it, when i would read that all the chocolate bars taste different depending on where they are from. I have tried other companies chocolate bars where they had dark chocolate, but from diff places, and they just all tasted the same to me. But, with this company, The bars TRULY really do taste different from each location. To me it's very obvious. And for once i am able to really truly go through the bars, snap off a piece, and taste the difference between them. They are all great. It is a real chocolate experience. (an expensive one LOL) But sometimes you have to look at it, like it's like buying a bottle of wine (for those who drink wine) or a specialty beer, or a special cheese. So it justifies spending a lot on chocolate. Afterall, this is NO Hershey bar. LOL

We really liked it as it does not have a bitter aftertaste that many 70%+ chocolate bars exhibit. It is still pretty intense, so giving it a 4 as it is not something that you would grab to eat if you are simply craving chocolate. .if buying as a gift, I’ll probably select some of your other flaors.

Chocolate taste great and worked well with the peanut butter balls I made and as of now it’s seems like the best chocolate available cause I’m more of the dark chocolate and this is by far the best dark chocolate I’ve had

Goodnow Farms makes the best chocolates, and I like this one the best. It has a wonderful, bright flavor. Savor the flavor, and boy oh boy, buy Boyaca!

Delicate. Complex. Balanced. Made to be savoured. Have never tasted a dark chocolate like this. I take it in small chunks, like a good whiskey. This is good for your special guests. It ain't no Hershey's.

The Colombian bar is now at the top of my list. I’ve tried almost all of them. I guess I’m kind of addicted to their chocolate! You can’t go wrong with any of them, but if I had to choose just one…it’s this one :)

These chocolate bars are the best I have ever experienced. The flavor of the cacao is very fruity and not bitter. We are giving some as gifts, but parting with them is not easy.

We've done a side-by-side taste-test the entire lineup, with several follow-up tests, and this bar from Colombia is consistently in competition for our favorite. It's chocolately and deep and smooth, of course, as most of Goodnow Bars are but where some bars go darker or and some bars go sweeter, this goes more complex - and complex in a deep, pleasant, flavorful way

My wife & I really enjoyed our first taste of Boyaca… it had a richness, an earthy tone and then that creamy finish that we love in GoodNow Farms!

I choose this bar (since I try to always have a wide selection of Goodnow Farms bars on hand) when I feel like a dessert treat. Not that it's overly sweet - it's not - but it has those indulgent flavors just as described - honey, toasted marshmallow and graham cracker - and you never know which flavor will jump out most each time you savor it.
