These bars have all been recognized with Gold by the most respected organizations in the world of chocolate. This collection features three of our Signature Line single origin bars and three Special Reserve, so it’s a perfect way to get a sense of incredible single origin flavor and also how our pairings with local businesses Boston Harbor Distillery and George Howell Coffee affect those flavors.
One fun tasting note is that the Putnam Rye Whiskey and Lawley’s Rum bars are made with the same beans from Ecuador we use in our Esmeraldas bar, so you can taste how the flavors of the rum and whiskey affect the experience of the berry jam/cabernet grape flavors in the Esmeraldas. This collection is a great way to introduce someone to the joys of single origin chocolate, and also an excellent choice for the seasoned single origin chocolate connoisseur.

The purest chocolate on earth with only three ingredients – cacao beans, sugar, and cocoa butter. The purest combination let each regional bar shines with unique and immense flavor. Can’t ask for more. I am so glad that I found Goodnow Farms, truly premium chocolate that I can’t find an equivalence in local organic or gourmet markets where additives like vanilla extract and sunflower lecithin emulsifier and hard to pronounce ingredients make all chocolates taste the same and artificial.
Gold Winners Collection
This collection is a delicious chocolate adventure. My favorite is Ucayli from Peru, but they are all good and contain wonderfully complex flavors. The Putnam Rye Whiskey bar makes a nice after dinner treat.
