Your mailing list alerted me of cocoa availability, so I ordered several Types of Coca, including the Gold and Silver Medal Winners, as well as 5 different chocolate bars from various areas.My closest tasting friend and I have totally enjoyed tasting. And consuming all of these items, and felt this was a great Activity during this pandemically odd time. As we are wine aficionados as well, we found we had good vocabulary for comparing tastes and mouthfeel, though the Goodnow Tasting Card helped, too! Perfect descriptions of the chocolate nuances.

Irene Probstein Almendra Blanca hot chocolate was a deeply satisfying hot chocolate with a rich chocolate flavor that felt very creamy and smooth with lingering pleasures in the mouth. Pure indulgence on a cold wintry afternoon. I used 3 tbs cocoa with one cup almond milk mixing it with a whisk to fully dissolve and then heated it up , just wonderful!

KatieD A delicious mild and balanced cup of cocoa .. not too sweet, not too dark, with a lovely hazelnut undertone that lingers. I’ve liked a 1/2c milk to 1T powder ratio for other Goodnow Farms cocoa’s, but this mix is perfected with a heavier cocoa hand and gives a deeper, darker velvety sip if you add in a bit more powder. I gently whip with a whisk to get all the delicious bits blended which also creates a nice airy foam. Will be ordering more soon!

Al Joelson With the cold weather and the lovely Covid time at home taken to trying a variety of hot cocoa’s as of late. We found the Goodnow Farms Almendra to be light, somewhat nutty, and also a uniquely rich. It’s an excellent choice if you want to try something different.

Lynay Smith I’m so excited to find this hot chocolate! I’ve been searching for a hot chocolate that is gluten-free (celiac), non-dairy, and tastes like homemade hot chocolate. It’s velvety smooth with a rich chocolate taste that’s not too sweet. I highly recommend it! I make mine with oat milk and it’s delicious!
