Spiced Apple Cider
We craft this very special bar with locally made apple cider from Honey Pot Hill Orchards, directly sourced Tanzanian cinnamon from Burlap & Barrel, and Macoun apples picked right here on our farm!
We start by soaking our single origin, directly sourced Zorzal Dominican Republic nibs in apple cider. Once the nibs are dry we begin grinding them into chocolate, and add our dried Macoun apples and just the right amount of cinnamon. The crisp and sweet flavors of the apples are front and center and are perfectly complemented by the complex notes of the Tanzanian Cinnamon Verum.
This is a Limited Release bar, so once they’re gone we won’t have more until next year!
As with all our chocolate this includes our freshly pressed cocoa butter, made from the same Zorzal beans we use to make the chocolate.
