All of these award-winning bars feature flavors directly from the source – we never use any artificial ingredients of any kind. We source all our ingredients from small, sustainable, like-minded makers and producers. Caramelized Onion: This collaboration bar with the single origin spice masters at Burlap and Barrel is intense, melt-in-your-mouth umami at its best.
Black Urfa Chili: Our Black Urfa Chili bar is another flavorful collaboration with our friends at Burlap & Barrel. In addition to a mellow heat the Urfa bar boasts complex flavors due to the fermentation process which the chilis undergo after harvesting.
Sichuan Pepper: Our Herbaceous Green Sichaun Dark Chocolate sourced from spice company 50 Hertz is truly unique. The herbal notes of our Peruvian Ucayali chocolate seamlessly meld with and carry the pine, floral and citrus notes of the Green Sichuan Pepper.
Brown Butter: Our Brown Butter bar is crafted with locally made, award-winning butter from High Lawn Farm. The sweet, toasty notes of the brown butter pairs perfectly with the cinnamon raisin flavors of the Zorzal Communitario cacao.
Putnam Rye Whiskey: We use 55 bottles of Boston Harbor Distillery’s distinctive “Putnam Rye Whiskey” for each batch of this Special Reserve chocolate, giving this bar an intense whiskey flavor like no other!
Boyaca: This Signature Line bar is a study in single origin flavor perfection. The toasted marshmallow, graham cracker and honey flavor notes come straight from the perfectly fermented beans.
As with all our chocolate these bars are crafted using fine flavor single origin cacao beans we sourced personally on our travels throughout Latin America, organic sugar, and our own freshly pressed single origin cocoa butter.
