After a long search for chocolate that compares to what I found in Costa Rica, I have finally found it with Goodnow Farms! I searched for a similar process for the bean to bar and tasted quite a few different kinds. This is it! The dark with coffee is my favorite but Cafe con Leche is like sipping my coffee while deep in the rainforest.

Smooth, with a wonderful aftertaste. Definitely not too spicy, if at all spicy.

We have grown to love Goodnow Farms Chocolate so much, that one of our favorite things is to share it with friends who have never experienced single origin chocolate. Today, we made another believer in the power of Goodnow Taste!

This chocolate bar tastes like a whole journey! I can first smell the herbaceous aroma from the green Sichuan peppers. Then I take a bite, the acidity from the premium cacao beans comes through. My favorite part is toward the end when my tongue starts to tingle with the lemon gush and salivate like a waterfall, creating all kinds of interesting flavors in my mouth. Well done!

Chocolate has been since childhood my my favorite sweet to have.
Luckily my parents raised us to love only dark chocolate. The darker the bitter the better.
Just like coffee they raised me to be critical about the quality.
As a grandmother as with my children the grandchildren’s first exposure to chocolate was to a dark one .
Goodnow farms chocolate exceeded my expectations and rose above any previous chocolate experiences.
The taste of the individual chocolates, the smell,the appearance , texture, the thickness they all came together to a velvety rich superb enjoyable experience.
This was Journey I couldn’t stop.
After buying for myself , I sent more to my children.

Really enjoying the cocoa… I mainly got it for my morning espresso… and it’s a wonderful add-in. On a side note, we were accidentally sent some chocolate bars as well, and we really enjoyed those as a dessert… smooth and silky.
